Nelayan takes its name from the Indonesian word for "fisherman" -- a tribute to the village that has shaped this coastline for generations. This tent sits closest to the water, and you feel it in everything: the salt on the breeze, the rhythm of waves threading through your sleep, the particular quality of light that only ocean proximity creates. The open-air bathroom is a highlight -- showering with volcanic stone underfoot while the sea stretches out before you. The shaded terrace faces the ocean directly, making it the most atmospheric spot in VELA for sunrise and sunset.
